9 Steps of Creative Process....

Being creative is easier said than done. The older I get, the more fascinated I am about creative persons and creative personalities. Brilliant or eccentric? Maybe both. According to Deepak creativity *always* involves a struggle. You can't get attached to the outcome, nor can you look for approval or be sensitive to criticism.. Some of us love to think we are creative, but we also have genuine difficulty with the lack of approval or criticism we encounter. It's very helpful to get some validation that those secondary forces are just part of the process. Don't feel like you are failing if you are creative and encounter them. Deepak also has 9 steps in his creative process.

Great post, I can definitely agree with the 'struggle' at times.

Nice. Reminds me of this quote that I carry around with me as a reminder: "Art is a birth, and you can't go to a teacher and find out how to be born...you have to struggle...until that image, the one that comes out of your need to create, emerges."
